Bought in 2021 and used on a Toyota Hilux 2.5L D-4D 2KD-FTV Piezo EUR5 142 BHP for two years until that vehicle was replaced. Now surplus to requirements.
Cost £722 in 2021. Sensible offer over £200 accepted. [bought as-is, but working fine when removed from old vehicle]
Do your own research. I did before buying. The Steinbauer system does not increase injector pressures so does not stress hardware. Rather, it extends injection duration. In my experience, it improved both torque and horsepower. This was most noticable in 3rd gear overtaking where stock vehicle was anaemic. Minor improvement in economy and emissions satisfied all M.O.T. tests.
Some wiring required: sensor wire attaches to accelerator unit.
