I had my usual stand at the Stalking Show at the weekend. I also did a demonstration on the main stage with BASC of various methods and techniques for carcass extraction....
Somebody stole all the equipment used for the demo FROM INSIDE THE MAIN HALL, OVERNIGHT SATURDAY NIGHT, WHILE THE SHOW WAS CLOSED.......
Below is a list of what they stole:

PCW3000 Capstan Winch(Petrol)
PCWlith.Capstan Winch (lithium)
EkaG5SwingBlade, knife
Spyderco Bow River, knife
80m x 8mm Winch rope
Arborculture rope dry bag
Lyon 18mm Swen Tree rigging sling
Heavy Duty Snatch block
2m 4x4 Recovery strap (5ton)
Emergency field bandage
Cat 3 Tourniquet
Inreach explorer Satellite Comms
2 x "D" shackles
2 x screwgate karabiners
Headtorch
Ogdens Sika Sack
Decathlon game bag
Decathlon 7-Litrex-access bag
Deertraycovers- Deer Drag
Butalo Roe caller
PAC-SAC leather carry strap
PAC-SAC Roe Sack
JS1Trailer® (JS1 Sledge)
JetSled Cover
The lithium battery Capstan was lent to me for the demo to show latest cutting edge kit!!
Serial numbers and IMEI numbers available for key items. Staffordshire Police are on the case, cctv etc. BUT:
Just if people see this special kit offered for sale at too good to be true low prices it may well be from this list.....

The SD members have always been great with me and I hope that you can empathise on having not only my business extraction kit stolen but also my own personal stalking kit too, knives etc.

Please feel free to PM me any info you may have...... or completely anonymousley -- CrimeStoppers Number 0800555111

Sorry to read this and I hope you get you kit back. Sad to think they took the edge of a great event for you. Good luck in catching the scum.

Presumably with the amount of firearms and restricted items on show security and cctv would be a high level? Were you the only target? Could other traders that possibly had anything similar add to a bigger picture of evidence?

It would begger belief it it wasn't covered by a high level of CCTV and a security presence due to what is on the stands/stalls ,, hope the organisers aren't just taking the money and not providing the security you would expect , hope the scumbags get caught, Good luck

You would think that the cctv and security by the organisers would be second to none with all the firearms equipment in that hall
Nobody could of walked out with all that stuff without being seen
If the security is that poor I can see traders not wanting to go next year with a risk of there stuff not being kept safe by the organisers
They take your money for the stand and no back up poor

Death knell for the venue.
Why? It's awful it happened to the OP, but it's one offence. If thousands of people attended a football match or some other event then something was stolen from the venue after the public had left would that mean the end for them by your reckoning?

What access did those working at the event have during the period this property was stolen, I wonder?

As said if no security provided then yesh could be a decent for the show as vendors wont take the risk .

Hopefully you get covered by venues insurance
