Hi all,
I shot a young fallow buck last night, and all of the inspection was fine, except the lungs were a bit different ...
They had blotchy, or mottled patches, kind of a creamy-beige colour with some smaller dark patches thrown in.
I've seen this on the edges of lung tissue before, and understand it's not an issue...but this was throughout the whole lungs.
When incised, the lungs were broadly a consistent texture accross all colours. The mediastinal was fairly large and juicy, but I wouldn't say swollen or pussy/gritty.
I dont want to discard un-necessarily...looking for opinions as to wether a cause for concern, or hopefully not.
Thanks!
