Stuart Mitchell Knives in the Wild...

Nearly lost mine today…

Shocker of a day - lost two gloves too. Fortunately a left hand and a right hand from different pairs!

And lost a deer.

Mind clearly not in the right place.

Now you’ve done it!

Can you use a Stuart Mitchell integral steak knife (in SF100) to process a buck?

Yep!

A little necker in use entertaining me and the kids:

One of Stuart’s O1 kitchen blades at work:

Stuart’s excellent NAFOK (Not Another F-ing Outdoors Knife) in use:

These last two are oddities that I tinkered with (taking great care not to lose the temper); Stuart wouldn’t make anything this FUGLY!

This started life as a Stuart Mitchell D2 blade that he sold as a blank, which I modified a little and handled. It has a lovely hollow-ground and is remarkably capable for deer. It’s is nicknamed BPK (Bambi Processing Knife):

This was an O1 Stuart Mitchell blade that became a mushroom knife (handled in red malee burl.)

Beef, venison, cooked or raw, it is all meat eh..? 😂

Great post mate, thank you.

That NAFOF was fun eh? 😂

When I bought this knife portland 90 it was ideally for muntjac roe deer and CWD. But this knife can tackle anything. Just done this big fallow with it with ease. One big comment sharp knives make the job easy.
