If you need to control rabbits you have good reason for a rimfire - can never have enough rifles…..Well in that case does anyone have any thing subsonic for a 6.5 creedmoor, mainly for shorter range rabbits

If you don't have access to Hornady Sub-X projectiles, there really is not a good option for the 6.5CM.
Do not try to dick around with any other powder. If you you can't scrounge TrailBoss, consider your quest over.
I only shoot hares at night, that way bowland cant spot me and cryNot at night![]()
Already got 3 rimfires so wanted to try a different approachIf you need to control rabbits you have good reason for a rimfire - can never have enough rifles…..

you are wrong regarding powder , i stock piled trailboss knowing it was getting banned but prior to it's introduction we used unique or red dot , and although i have not tried it yet i'm told tin star works well.
wise advice for inexperienced reloadersI suggested to try Trailboss only, not that there weren't other options. The rationale being the OP didn't appear to have a lot of knowledge of sub-sonic loading, so Trailboss which is the easiest powder to use for reducing loads would be the simplest and quickest way to determine the terminal performance and stability of the suggested bullet. If it met his needs, he could then work with an available powder, of which there are quite a few. I have played with close to 2 dozen pistol, shotgun and fast rifle powders over the years. Still occasionally load up a few with 50 year old Nobel PB.
I reloaded 200gn Lapua special subsonic bullets in 308 ages back. Heavier is better. Used Trailboss not an option now I guess.
I would suggest it is an impractical load unless you have bad guys to drop with a headshot or fancy yourself as a poacher. The trajectory is more down than out.
A fun reloading project, fun to shoot on the range but thats it
