The current BDS campaign is genuine. Donations made before midday today are being match funded from another source (so your £10 donation = £20 to BDS).
Whether or not your email was genuine I cannot say.

Anything vague like this gets blocked number and emails never ever get opened.

Often, cold calls like that are just to get you into conversation leading to selling you something.

Safe Shooters Card (or Cert)

You don’t get to shoot on a range unsupervised without one

In that case I'd give them a call, the Web site is legitimate but as to why they have created you a user account is something only the administration experts at Bisley can explain.

SSC is a "Safe Shooter Certificate", a card issued by the NRA so that you can use MOD ranges, I asked this because they insist on email addresses being sent in from the rifle clubs and as of this year have now started contacting non NRA members directly using these email addresses.

Ahah! Thank you - being in NI and in a couple of clubs with our own ranges I have never been to the few MOD ranges over here so it was a genuine question - I am not even certain it applies but someone will be along in a moment….
