Surrey first FAC application waiting time?

I have always found the Sussex team to be very helpful and mostly very efficient. Like everyone, they make the occasional mistake, but if you point them out in a friendly, understanding manner, they correct them very quickly.
Please remember, the FELU staff are not exactly over paid, yet take the flak if there is an incident and someone runs amok with a licenced firearm. They are short of staff, have a massive backlog of applications, not helped by a small minority who submit variations almost weekly, so I am told.
Whenever you have questions, drop the FELU a polite e-mail and you will find they call you pretty quickly.
Please don't knock Sussex Police (or any other county) too hard - without them around be reduced to airsoft and paintball !!!!!
