Suzuki Vitara: Best replacement rear tyres.

My Vitara needs a new set of rear tyres. I only do about 2K miles per year and approx 30% will be off road ie on fields tracks etc whilst out shooting.

I have 2 sets of rims, 15 and 16" so could other Vitara users recommend a suitable make and approx cost?

Also anybody had any experience with Kingpin tyres. They seem to do a reasonable range of suitable type tyres.

Must add front tyres are fine but are bog standard road type so offer very limited grip off road. Most of the time mymotor is in 2 wheel drive.

Check out Camac, Kumho or Marshall tyres, these are cheapie new tyres, better than remoulds. Also check the Evilbay.

im running a full set of general grabber AT2's these worked well on my long wheel base and now on my swb,

got them a few years ago at about £90+ fitting and balancing per wheel.

also have a look at the classified adds on Difflock.com you could get a set of four for a lot less.

I ran Camac's on mine good wear and excellent off road, just be careful in the wet.
