Swarovski DS

Or Sig Sauer Kilo 10000 RF bins and onboard applied ballistics

Instant firing solution (almost)

Damned expensive and not yet available and probably still not as fast as the DS - but definitely an option for faster acquisition

Considering that only a few contractors will be VAT registered, it's not like they can write off such a purchase under expenses.

Not sure how spending £3.5k on a scope would make up for 15% of your cull unless you were really shooting 3,000 deer a year.

That's a lot of time spent walking out to pick them up, gralloch, carry back to the truck/Argo/quad (assuming you shot it off the bonnet/wingmirror) and then more time in the larder.

Must have a good team of assistants (or fairies morelike...)
You need to go to maths school.
Disappointed you ended with an insult..

My cull is 580 p/a, 15% of that easily pays for a DS, even at retail.
Why come back with an insult, I don't know you and you certainly don't know me, so why the insults?

Normal lowland stalking...... useless

Have a colleague who stalks with me know and again, he's usually back at the car of an evening time whilst I'm still happy to take shots. That's when he had a DS mounted rifle. I think he's cottoned on now, haven't seen him with a DS in a while :-|

Had loan of a Bushnell Eliminator(latest one), great as day scope but absolutely useless in a night environment. The illumination was too bright and would not turn down enough, spoke to Bushnell to see if I could plug in to the usb port and turn it down to a minimum, they said it would invalidate the warranty. so left it.
Had it on a 280AI had some very long shots with it when conditions allowed.Shame the glass was not better and the illumination more adjustable, 1/2 the price of the Swaro but just as capable in daylight.
