Swarovski Habicht

I had a 3-12x50 Habicht which I used when I first started stalking. It's decent and holds zero but doesn't compete too well at twilight with better quality scopes. You may find that there's no Swarovski warranty on Habicht these days too?
I should add that my twilight thoughts are based on experience. I took out a bloke who had a 3-10x40 Zeiss Victory on his rifle. On comparing the two at last light I was amazed at the difference. He had 15-20mins shooting after I had packed up. You get what you pay for!
I second this! I have the 42mm Habicht I bought while in Innsbruck in 2001. Never thought much about it until last year, 2020 . I went to check zero before hunting season around noon on a clear day. I brought my other rifle that had a west German stamped 3-9x36 Zeiss diavari I bought new in 1985. The difference was upsetting. The Swaro was significantly darker (as in 4pm compared to noon). It was my first Swarovski. I paid 1083 Euros in 2001. It turned me off so much that it will be the only Swarovski I will own. I'm only keeping it because I bought it new with a Steyr rifle at the same time while in Austria.
