Bought both the bottom metal & magazine from SD members in recent weeks as part of a ‘feasibility’ study for a little project I was looking into involving the combining of a Tikka M595 barrelled action with a T3 stock & CTR magazine.
Unfortunately, when I got the main components together it became clear that the only way this ‘marriage’ would work was with modification of the M595 action & that was a non-starter.
So I now have for sale as a whole the CTR bottom metal & a 10 round CTR magazine for the 308W ‘family’ of cartridges. Both are ‘pre-loved’ but in good working order, the magazine has had the ‘modification’ to the slot where the release lever engages to stop it rattling in the magazine well.
Looking for £155 posted for these or £150 if collected - I will be at Bisley this coming Sunday 30 June, again on 13/14 July and for six days 18-23 July incl.
