Tactical Turrets

Anyone have any idea where you can get tactical turrets from, and how much they would cost?? any info would be great! regards

Hi,
I was using a scope with tac turrets up until tuesday last week. After a long crawl in and I shot a beast further back than expected. After a bit of head scratching I realised that my turrets had creeped and my only conclsuion was that this had happened when the rifle was on my back during the crawl.

Will not be using that scope again on my deer rifle.

Kenton industries are specialist in turrets for most makes of scope, including custom distance ones if you supply the info they need, hope this helps

Have got a set from kenton industries turrets on leupold vxl.all you do is give them the info for your rifle its all on their web page.and they are spot on .

Please remember that with the Tasco Titan there are at last two different, and I mean totally different, designs. The early ones had turrets just like the Schmidt & Bender scopes complete with reticle position indicator the later ones do not have this feature. This is the early type:-

Yes some dingbat has wound the windage right so far it's jammed the indicator. I hope to get this serviced and fixed in the new year.

The later turrets are lower and smoother styled to the tube as seen on this ad here on SD:-

I very much doubt that the add on ballistic turrets for one type would fit the other due to their totally different designs

am I not right in thinking that if you want to replace a bog standard turret with a tactical turret, you will actually need the manufacturer to remove the original one, install the new one, re-gas, etc. etc. you can't just stick a tactical turret on top of a standard for-zeroing-purposes turret, or pull it off and stick a new one on...

I know that when I looked at getting a BDC on my S&B, they require a bit of work in Germany to replace the original one.

i always check my turrets before i take a shot in the light,only a few times when lamping or if i crawled frew a hedge
