Tall larder fridge for roe

Mines welded aluminium and sits in a ledge each side with an hanging point on a roller to slide the beast back.
Held up two 50kg (one at a time!) switch stags so far no problems although a bit of leg tucking and a couple of straps round the fridge to keep the door closed helps for the reds

That answers my question, thankyou, don’t think I could expect that small ledge to take more than 50kg really so that’s doing well,
Do you manage it for reds in a larder fridge? What’s your dimensions roughly?

It’s a commercial fridge I’m not home at the moment but it’s pretty tall maybe 6ft taller than me anyway (5’10”) you need a block and tackle to get reds in but they do fit there is a t bar at the top with a home made 4 wheeled roller that you hang the beast on.

The one I use at home(in the photo) is a £50 ebay bought domestic Beko 6’ with original fan.
Well worth looking out on all the market sites for one locally and the best thing is it’s cheap to run, great for parties and Christmas as I kept the shelves plus could be loaded in the pickup on my own

got to ask leupsak where did you get the "sacking" for the wraps on the fallow and how did you fit chopping boards to fridge? many thanks

The sacks are just mutton cloth rolls cut to 1.5 x the length of the animal, eBay butcher materials will give you loads, dont go for the car cleaning rolls as they are often unbleached and not food grade.

The cutting board isn’t fixed just stood on the shelf ledge with a tight fitting alloy tube to push the 2 sections apart, clean and simple 👍

Have you found any problems hanging a fallow just off those two built in ledges? Are they strong enough?
I’ve just made an A frame for mine after my first attempt at a rail through the the sides punctures a pipe, But I’m abit wary about hanging too much weight off the two ledges 🤷🏻‍♂️
I have hung a very large Fallow Buck off my A frame it was fine the more weight on it drives the legs out and James them harder in to the sides and the moulded rail they sit on
