Taxidermy supplies uk

Would like to give taxidermy a try and have started to look into materials etc.

Where do people get things like ear liners? Is importing from the states the best route. There are a few suppliers in the uk I can see but seem limited options and stock.

Try Snowdonia Supplies.
(Used to be called Snowdonia Taxidermy Supplies).
I have bought glass eyes and stuff from them in the past, and tanning kits.
They are members of this site (I think).

Prices have shot up in the last few years on all taxidermy supplies.
JHT supplies in the UK are one of the better places for materials. However most of their products are imported, hence their running out of stock.
USA has a huge amount of suppliers, but then you will pay import duty and VAT on anything you purchase. Although quality is generally very good and the choice is vast, especially companies like Mckenzies.

Lastly there is a very good company in Germany called Hauser Tierformen who supply very good quality materials. The cost is reasonable and the quality good, and they are pretty much on the ball most times.

Snowdonia do sell some items, but its very limited in choice.
