The Brown Snake

You would have thought that although not likely to get bitten but still a chance it may happen that walkers in the bush etc should be made to carry a first aid kit that has anti snake equipment in. Not necessarily anti venom but a tourniquet or snake bandage.
 
I don't have a fear of snakes, more a healthy respect, but the thought of being bitten gives me chills. I remember as a boy, watching a guy remove a brown from under our house in Pucka'. It wasn't much over three feet, and he showed me the fangs when he opened its mouth. Bloody things gave me the fear. Weird thing is, I can handle non-venomous snakes with no worries whatsoever.
