Not put anything on here for a while, so last night I went up to the shoot for a look for a late season fallow buck, anyway I didn’t see one, I did see 11 doe’s which is the usual as I don’t see them when they are in season

when I got there I popped to the farm to see the old girl and she said to me that there’s a lot of rabbits over the far side so I thought I’d go and have a look, expecting to see the “ farmers millions “ as in a couple, when I got there I can honestly say I’ve never seen that many up there for over 15 years, one small grass field had about 60 in it and it was still daylight, I shot half a dozen but the .243 is not the tool for this job, the problem is where they are is on my boundary to the caravan park which I can’t go on while it’s open so I’ll just have to pick them off on the fields, anyway it will be a nice way to kill an hour or two
