What a beautiful rifle , I have the scirocco classic HE 12ft lbs . I bought it 33 years ago and it still looks and shoots like new , it even has the same scope as yours and sling . It’s coming to the grave with me . Good luck with the sale

Yes it can.
Or it certainly could be in the past.
You just needed an rfd to test it and have it removed from fac.

But anyway, to have the work done would double the price of the rifle at least.

My friend has one with a pump , he just adds air or let’s it out and chronos it

I know on the rapid series and other models you cannot reverse the process but HE models should be capable with the pump and adaptor , some Weinrach models also have the same feature like my hw90k

It can be done physically, however licensing authorities won't de-rate it. Once S1 always S1 in their eyes.

I spoke to my Rfd at depth about de tunning from Fac and he certainly won’t do it.
As said before many times once a sec1 always a sec1!

I will stand corrected but I’m not convinced it’s about the legislation and not more to do with willpower.

Positive I dug in depth into this a while back and found no legislation saying it couldn’t be done.

I was under the impression that once FAC that's it no going back. Older ones were easily adjustable. Beautiful rifle my mate had one and he still regrets selling it.

They can under the view of many forces, its made a few dealers a fair bit of cash

likewise just about any airgun can be lifted in power or reduced in power . Where do we stop ? De-activated have been re-activated etc etc etc . Thing is criminality is still present in society

Yes it was the early types , somehow they slipped through the net back then , most reputable dealers won’t sell the pump to hooligan we hope !

i really dont get all the fuss over what is a very modest power rise in real terms in this kind of design . most of the spring or gas ram rifles shoot best in 15-16 ftlb in 22, its hardly any tangible difference . Compare with 22 lr subs at 80ftb . Before anyone states the obvious 12 ft lb can kill and i have met a victim and since that time i thought air guns should be licenced !
I certainly wouldnt add an airgun to my fac again , i just keep sub 12 ftlb in air power now . Its a handy lender and fine for rats and clearing feral pigeons from farm buildings . Our orgs spend too much time saying airguns are the entry to the sport , personally i think they where in the past a lot more but now I think more needs doing to stop shotguns drifting into FAC territory and FAC becoming a better more streamlined system regards the changes of calibre or adding something different .
Other might disagree , most of them airguners without the required to get a licence
