Thermal Monocular entry level?

I am considering purchasing a thermal monocular, I have looked at various makes, yet the Pulsar is marginally ahead at this point, I am considering the Axion XM30F , what's the thoughts on this one, or is there other ones on the market for similar price 1K worth looking at?

Get a 2nd hand helion much better value and you'll sell it in a few years for close to what you bought it for

I would also consider HIKMICRO Lynx 2.0 LH25.

It costs a fraction more than Pulsar Axion XM30F, but features larger sensor, faster lens, much lower NETD and 18650 batteries.
As much as I remember, APS3 battery in Axion does not last more than five hours and you get only one in a package.
HIKMICRO usually supply its thermal devices with at least two, sometimes even more batteries and all together you will get more running time from Lynx than Axion.

I have a HIKMicro 6mm Lynx. At £300 (Stalking Show price), it’s about as entry-level as you can get.

l bought it principally to aid in carcase recovery (isn’t it amazing how a 50lb roebuck can vanish in 6” stubble?), but under ideal conditions it’ll pick up a handbag species at 300 yards. lt’s also proved its worth many times by picking out CWD couched among tall crops, roe in dark undergrowth etc.
