Thetford ranges .

Looking for info on ranges around Thetford and the clubs that shoot there , years ago I shot on a gallery 600 yard range and another which was out to 900 yards and was wondering if there still , I think it was the Range officers club .

Gets a lot of MOD use and there are calibre limits ie7.62mm maximum

I shoot there with two clubs. In addition to the gallery range there is a 300 yard ETR range. Barton Road allows up to 1000 yards and HME is allowed.

Oh and all 6.5 calibres are currently banned on all MoD ranges…..

Thanks for the info , We have been knocked back by the Mod for months now , they have only banned the 6.5 Creedmore on our range though .

HME is no longer permitted at Barton A clause in the Range orders that allowed civilian clubs to use HME was removed.
