Things To Do In Lockdown

I think it was more due to the fact I'd already had 12 weeks restrictions post op which was just coming to an end when the Covid 19 exploded, trying to chill, but cabin fever gets to you! The idea of giving it up for an alternative life is very tempting!:thumb:
Yep, an alternative lifestyle is well worth considering: It's much less feverish when you can measure your "cabin" in acres rather than square yards!

Im going to see if i can actually record wildlife on my trail cam. So far i recorded a horse looking over the fence, myself watering the veg and the dog having a dump.

My ground elder annihilation endeavour is drawing to a close & the tonnes of unearthed sandstone will soon be repurposed to bolster the ends of raised beds.

Next up is sowing seeds & hoping they grow faster than the (inevitable) weeds & regrowth of ground elder from bits I missed.

I found a monster jemmy & a roofers hammer 2 days ago that had been left behind by the re roofers after they did it all 3 years ago, a small return for the 55K euros it had cost me.

Totally agree. I measure my cabin in square miles, 365 of the Dartmoor National Park right on my doorstep. No cabin fever here. 😀👍

Rekindled some music I left behind years ago

Dave Brock, Bob Calvert, Nik Turner, Huw Lloyd Langton ans Dik Mik

Still going strong, but not in the same form or line up as they were when I was a “lad” on a damp field in the mid eighties near the stones in Wiltshire

Distant fond memories brought back quite vividly

😄

Masturbation... although will be difficult with the wife and kids about , I may have to spend more time ‘pottering’ In the garage

But, please, like the old joke about the man who called 111 and reported that his pride and joy had turned orange, no eating Cheesy Wotsits at the same time!

Hawkwind... What a band!!! I liked the lemmy years most myself but they didnt last long (whatever happened to him?! 🤔). Will never forget (or properly remember) the 24 hour gigs they did at the Hammy O in the late 80s early 90s. I was only young but they were awesome.

Lemmy died a few years ago -2015 I think

Stacia Blake ,,,,another memory of the band

Calvert long gone - inspirationally gifted vocalist and poet along with Moorcocks imagination of the future

Many memories of seeing the band at local venues after they stopped the free festivals mid eighties

Would be nice to go back a few years ,,,,regrow lost hair,,,patched denims

Turning into an old fart now, maybe spirit of the (my) age

Good times of youth! 😂

Yeah, it was sad for me when Lemmy died. Motorhead was my first ever gig, again at Hammersmith....god knows how I got in, must have been 14!

The guys were talking about tits earlier...reminded me of Stacia 😉

Spirit of the age always was and still is my favourite song by them...and think I've still got a couple of calverts solo albums... they were odd to say the least.

Anyway, all this reminiscing is only leading us down a dark damnation alley 🤭

Captain Lockheed and the starfighters ans I think Lucky Leif and the longships ,,,,

The first album was better than the second

Memory lane

Cap rolled grandad 😂😂😂
