Thinnest warmest gloves.

Heard Sealskin are the business at the moment !
Yet to see any yet. Have a pair of "Macwets", no good in cold wet weather this time of the year. Probably OK in Summer ?

Brider.

Can't believe there is no mention of of Harkila pro shooter, they have fine leather palms and wind stopper backs, not water proof but kept my hands warm for the last four years and you don't need to take them off to take a shot.

I have a pair of Sealskinz Hunter (£35 -FleaBay) and find the warm and thin enough to shoot in but quite tight fitting. This version has the full fine leather trigger finger rather than the fold back type, which I prefer as it makes them waterproof. I have tried the MacWets and as an earlier poster said they are definitely not for cold weather but ok for the summer. When it really gets cold I use a pair of North Ridge mitts (£50 - Go Outdoors) which have fingered gloves inside - very toasty and waterproof, I just take one off before I shoot.

I love these for when it gets really really cold, can load everything bar rimfire and enough feel on the fingers to even use a 1.5lb trigger! Tough wearing as well and waterproof so was outside in the snow for hours when we had it a month back and it went through god knows how many snowmen and snow balls all afternoon!

Biggest problem I found is getting a reliable UK supplier :(

Ironclad Gloves: Cold Condition Waterproof Work Gloves CCW

edit: was out on Sunday shooting down by the Seven and the macwets I was wearing (climatec) were more than ample and even took them off for the walk back as they were too warm.
