Looks a good oppurtunity, right up until you see "access can be challenging due to a neighbouring owner" If they`re having issues already. I wouldn`t want that neighbour to be then turning their attention on me as a gun owner.

Asking for a more "In Depth" description of the neighbour might be interesting.

We were on the Gower last week and sheer quantity of ticks....JEEZ. We were brushing 20-30 off the dog literally every 10 mins or so !!! Spent a good hour picking them off again once we got back to the house. Never seen anything like it. Not sure if this is usual and localised to the Gower but over rest of the week we hiked every day over the Brecon Beacons and only picked up a couple.

In today’s deer world, no stalker in their right mind gives up ground no matter the quantities of deer!
So as previously mentioned, either he’s curled his toes up and he’s now 6 foot under, or there is a reason to which he is no longer in his position to me, thinks stinks worse than a Labrador that’s rolled in fox

Could be just a spat over vehicle accsess, maybe not vegan anti shooting?
Or they view all the deer as theirs so don't want anyone driving to the hot spot and filling their truck.

There's a block of woodland not too far from me,in fact it was part of an estate I keepered years ago, the estate was broken up and woodlands.co.uk bought a block of nearly 175 acres in size. Then sold it in small parcels to all and sundry. No shooting whatsoever allowed in the place,no squirrels or deer controlled.
Upshot is the surrounding farmers now get me to shoot around it,no thoughts of selection just knock them over. Have been heckled from within the woodland after a shot, presumably a 10 acres worth of woodland owner not happy with the deer control being done.
I'd look carefully before committing if woodland.co.uk have anything to do with the place.

Enjoy your shooting as long as your land owner agrees with you. Just tell them did they not say we shoot the deer when you bought the plot

I've been keepering professionally for 40 years nigh on, I've got thick skin these days
I very rarely see or hear anyone in the place, I think it's for summer use only. Heard dogs barking in there so presume it's an expensive way of walking your dog 
You are bang on the money there ,never heard of deer in the gower, I think its a scam of some sort.VERY surprised to hear of Deer on the Gower peninsula
