There’s one for sale I’ve seen for £1900 and a t3x is about £1600What are your actual prices you are looking at? In the US I can buy three T3x Lites for one Nosler 21.

Seems there’s limited options for factory rifles in the prcWatching this because I have been thinking of getting one in 6.5prc
Do tikkas come with shilen match barrels?I spoke to my local gunsmith who is well known for building quality custom rifles and he’s said exactly the same thing. Although it has individual components it’s still a factory built rifle and won’t shoot any better than a tikka. He actually advised a t3x would be a better choice as there’s more options to customise in future
Yes correct. The Nosler barrels are further up the ladder from the tikka barrels. Shilen or in my case a Pac-Nor.Do tikkas come with shilen match barrels?
Yeh, my concerns are, the 21 prc is a short action which might compromise seating longer bulletsSeems there’s limited options for factory rifles in the prc
Well that changes things a lot. You can find brand new t3x lites in the us for $700-800. (Often even less certain times of year.) The cheapest nosler I saw was three times that much. But your situation is different. There’s one for sale I’ve seen for £1900 and a t3x is about £1600
I hadn’t considered thatYeh, my concerns are, the 21 prc is a short action which might compromise seating longer bullets
bedded B&C and you are right up there.old Parker hale with wood stock.
I’d pay three times as much, or more, for the stock than the entire riflebedded B&C and you are right up there.
are you referencing the B&C stocks?that’s not even a premium aftermarket stock at that (
I know they’re good, had a couple. Not McMillan sturdiness, but still very good. I’d consider them upper middle class to lower upper class in the stock raceare you referencing the B&C stocks?
I can advise that they are indeed imo a premium stock that in my care have had years of fair dinkum bush work with a couple of hard booting crackers (1st 2)
I have them fitted on .358 Norma Mag PH
9.3 x 64 B PH
7mm Rem Mag W a lifetime lol..
I mentioned in another thread that the B&C for a working rifle are as good as any after market synthetic rifle stock.
I know they’re good, had a couple. Was that you recently saying that you wouldn't have synthetics?I know they’re good, had a couple. Not McMillan sturdiness, but still very good. I’d consider them upper middle class to lower upper class in the stock race
Yes, I’ve had and have fitted many synthetics, but I don’t really want anymore in my life tbh - just lacking ‘persona’, but call me crazyI know they’re good, had a couple. Was that you recently saying that you wouldn't have synthetics?
I have a Mac on a 300 WM, its certainly no better imo opinion other than the name, something that some people react too and if they were all painted the one black colour no one would know the farkin difference ha ha.
Btw way im trailer trash lower class...but my huntings not lol.
The B&C`s dont ha ha.but they also have their faults.

That’s a cracker of a stockThe B&C`s dont ha ha.
When you are in the mountains on NZ`s South Island high up frigging about for Tahr and being wet for ten days in a row you then wake up to the fact that sometimes the wood doesn't cut the mustard as cleanly.
**** me its tough going,I lost four toenails that first trip.
Remember the Rem Woodsmasters? We did a weeks wet every day sambar hunt many years ago and the mate couldn't open his Rem as its wooden stock swelled that much..true as.
Mind you John I do love good wood, here`s a pic of my .308 Norma Mag (another PH) stock in American fiddleback maple that my mate carved for me 20 years ago just prior to sending it to me.

Its a cracker of a calibre too. The .308 Norma mag is one of those calibres that many haven't a clue about, that and its big sister the .358 NM,now that is a farkin hammer. That’s a cracker of a stock
Fantastic value for the price.Hi what are people’s thoughts/experience with Nosler rifles, specifically the model 21? I’m considering one in a 6.5prc for stalking and they look good for the price. Match barrel, rem 700 clone action, carbon stock and trigger tech trigger.
Only a couple of hundred quid more than a t3x. Worth it or not?
