Tick resistant trousers

I know the Scotland have a zip and velcro at the ankle, the waist is fine but the legs are a bit too long but im not that fussed as they are tucked into boots, or you could wear a pair of gaiters.
You will be lucky to get a tailor made type fit with any of these type of shooting trousers.

I have not long treated all my gear with the Lifesystem, 3 craghopper shirts, and a pair of lightweight craghopper trousers, even though the shirts are already treated its a belt and braces.
I find the Rovince Scotland trousers far too warm this time of year.
 
Soaked all my gear in this stuff last year, didn’t get any ticks all season.

I worked in sub-Sahara Africa for years and all of our clothes that went to the laundry were subjected to a permethrin wash. Cannot recall being bitten by anything despite being surrounded constantly by every type of biting insect imaginable.

Rovince for past few years, best kept long as when you tuck them in the extra overlaps you socks, have two different pair , one thicker than the other ,so good for all weather

Exactly this. I stalk in boots so tuck trouser legs into socks, boots on and gaiters over. I use the Life Systems spray over the lot and on jacket or fleece too.

Have a look at the anti insect range from Hart clothing. I am yet to have any ticks latch on whilst wearing them. Between the trousers and the socks I have been clear so far.

Harkila Trail have been my go to for years....Verney Carron Crouse Beater are very similar but half the cost and are my new favourite. We have a large tick burden around here as well
 
If you can afford the very best kit then why not. I think the anti tick clothing is just another way of adding more value. Gaters gloves and a snood is enough for me though.
Err along with other clothes as well. Tip do not **** in the heather and do not eat the yellow snow.
