Tier one Sako/Optilock 30mm Scope rings

Good morning guys and girls

I’m hoping someone more in the know can help me out. I’m not a fan of Sako’s optilock ring and base set up.
I’ve got a rifle that I’m looking to scope up and I seem to remember that tier one made a set of 30mm one piece rings to mount straight onto a Sako optilock dovetail? Have I made this up as I can’t find any evidence of them anywhere?
If they do exist does anyone know where I can get a set or does anyone have some they’d move on?

I’m pretty sure is was only the parallel Tikka rail they made mounts for.

I went for a Near picatinny rail for my Sako 85.

Yeah I have a set of the ring mounts on another rifle, I was just wondering if anyone knew of the tier one model as I like the integral bubble on the rear ring.
Scotch, you may be right ref Tikka only, I’ll see if I can dig out anything ref the Sako model but I’m sure I’ve seen them somewhere

I would go for the sako ring mounts myself but unfortunately they don’t do them in 34mm.

Also I haven’t seen the 30mm ring mounts for sale for a very long time.

Think you’re right Scotch. I’ve recently bought a set of 30mm ring mounts from a member on here but they definitely seem rare these days.
Shame about the lack of 34mm though, my PM2 is on optilock bases with Recknagel low rings and it’s not bad, just a bit of a convoluted set up

They are listed as available on the Beretta website, getting a dealer who can order and deliver them is another matter.

Personally, I'd choose a scope mount that was windage adjustable, like the orginal Sako ringmounts (only offered in 1 inch and 26mm, Low, Med, High) were (pre-Beretta).

I think for new manufacture 30mm mounts, MAK is an option: MAKfix Rings with Bases, Sako Forester, Finnbear, Finnwolf, 30.0 mm

Spuhr do a fairly nice set of 34mm, optilock compatible rings.

you can get 34mm optilocks but they seem to be impossible to source.

Thanks for the replies guys. I’ll look into the MAK rings and the 34mm optilocks. Assuming the 34mm optilocks would still require the bases though as ideally I’m after a one piece option
