I’ve been trying to decide if I should post this item but realistically I cannot remember the last time I took it out other than to shoot paper. most of my shooting is roe work so this sits fallow in the cabinet. I wish I could use this to shoot roe
Tikka M590 Deluxe in 223
I purchased this around 3 years ago and so round count is unknown other than the few I’ve put through it. The rifling looks crisp all the way from the lead to the crown especially considering its age and it’s an original barrel.
I had it shortened to 18” by Mike Norris at purchase and he also did something to the timing of the bolt/firing pin whilst he was at it. I just wanted something short was the reason for the cut. I have the original piece of barrel chopped off in case any buyer would like to see it to prove its not been abused for reason of cut. It’s threaded 14x1mm with a thread protector. As you can see the crown is tidy.
It also has an ultra low profile picatinny rail which is convenient. I have 55gr reloads going along at about 3150fps using N133. Needless to say it shoots sweet as a nut and has been very accurate with 55gr Sierra spitzers.
You don’t see too many of these about now which is a shame as it’s a great rifle; classic lines, wonderful figure in the stock (not skim bedded) and accurate. The stock as you can see has some great figure for a commercially manufactured rifle, the pictures don’t do it justice with the rosewood forend and grip cap.
Also for sale with first dibbs to the buyer, I have a full reloading set for this including fl and neck dies, seating dies, bullets, primers and unused lapua cases as well as a load of once fired etc that the buyer will have first dibs on. I would also be happy to share data to any buyer, I’ve never used factory ammunition so I cannot comment on that. We can work out a deal if you want it

Prefer f2f and any prospective buyer is welcome to try the rifle if they collect. I can also rfd at your expense. Rifle is near Ludlow and Leominster
