Tikka rifle

Hello guys, I’ve got 3 rifles but have never bought a brand new one I finally bought a tikka light in 243 so now looking for a moderator for it, where do I find the correct thread that I will need to buy a moderator, sorry for the newbie question but any help will be appreciated

could be m15x1..
they could be dropping the M14x1. check the website. better even would be to measure the thread.

Could be, would be, might be. Just go to your RFD and find out. Shop local. They'll not be there when you really want them.

From the Tikka website today:
Some Tikka rifle models are supplied with muzzle thread. The thread depends on the model - thin barrels are typically with M15x1 thread, medium-heavy barrels with 5/8-24 thread and heavy barrels with M18x1 thread.

To be sure measure.

There was a thread on here just recently where the OP had been sold a mod by the RFD who thought he was being clever by going off the serial number of the rifle, needless to say he got it wrong.

Measure the thread, get it right.

Go off what people on here think they know, end up with the wrong mod and another variation.
