Tikka stock swap calibers

Hi all,
I'm looking to see has anyone ever changed Tikka stocks. I have a 270 roughtech light ember, and I'm thinking of putting a Tikka super varmint stock onto it. The issue is the the super varmint stock is off a 243. Will my 270 fit the stock?? I read up that all Tikka actions are the same size. My concern is the mag well and recoil lug position.

Probably as Tikka tend to put the one action in 243 and 270 no small actions for them now . Do check that before you but though

yes they are the same and interchangeable, assuming you are using the factory Tikka bottom plastic.

Just swapped a .270 roughtec into a .308 Wideland Veil stock - no issues. Looking at the generous barrel clearance, I would see no issues with a heavier varmint barrel as @BE Precision says
