I'm testing the water to gauge interest in my Tikka T3x Tac A1, chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor.
Purchased from Edinburgh Rifles 22 AUG 2024, it's had some very preliminary load development done (seems to love 140gr ELD-Ms & 136gr Scenar-Ls and N555 & RS60) – but to be honest it shoots Norma Match 130gr OTM factory ammo lights-out, so load development became less of a priority for me. Round count is about 300, so the barrel is just entering the sweet-spot.
Standard 24" rifle with no modifications. Lovely factory double stage trigger, which is specific to the Tac A1 (as all the other T3xs come with a single stage trigger). This trigger also allows you to remove the bolt with the safety engaged which is another unique feature of the Tac A1. Comes with a metal factory CTR style mag and the original Tikka factory muzzle break. It also includes some 3rd party LOP spacers because, apparently, I have a neck like a giraffe.
