Pretty certain that there was never a metal 3 round mag for M595, 3 round mags were all plastic. The metal mags were 5/6 round depending on cartridge (although I’ve never put 6 in the 222/223 mags I’ve got).

I have a 3 round plastic 22/250 mag somewhere which I bought for my M595 6mBR but I recall it wasn’t very effective, hence why I have it ‘somewhere’ & not with the kit inside regularly!!

Am taking my 6mmBR to the range today to check zero as the fallow have taken to feeding out into the middle of a big field of winter wheat & then lying up there in the sunshine about 300 yards from the nearest cover thinking they’re safe…
