I recall suggesting a mechanism whereby SD Classifieds sellers receive positive or otherwise "feedback" from those purchasing items as per the rating arrangement to be encountered on ebay.

Perhaps the new site owners might consider revisiting this?

What this tells me about the Op is he shouldn't be entrusted with a Visa Card and must be kept away from any significant UK Shopping Centre as clearly he's on the spectrum in terms of a need for constant retail therapy!

You couldn’t be further from the truth if you tried

I absolutely detest shopping centres - if I have to go to one you can bet that I’ve already worked out exactly what I want, who sells it & when I am most likely to be there when the masses are absent!

Last time I visited one was to get the battery replaced in my phone - I booked a slot & when I arrived I was far from pleased to find that it was just a ‘drop off’ slot & it’d be another hour & a half till it’d be ready. The ‘guru’ didn’t know how close he came to hearing how displeased I was when he suggested I go grab a coffee & wonder around the shops - I went back to the car park & sat in the car listening to the radio!
