Today at work I.....

i know one of the directors well , inducted him on new cranes many years ago when i worked for a manufacturer

i do a fair bit of their heavier crane work
When I was working on tower cranes at the st James centre , steel would arrive from the plant in carnwath still red hot off the mill.

Good steel erectors the BHC lot.

Worked with them in London and st James.

Came off driving them and went into maintenance and erecting now and again,I’d had enough of London by then.

i was a tower crane erector in the late 80's early 90's before moving on to being a mobile crane service engineer those were the best days and in fact i am off to see my old erector buddies at the beginning of april , we still meet up regular although sadly lost a legend recently so only three now well 4 if you count malc but he's in oz now
