When I used to collect a lot more swarms, and someone told me they were in a bird box, I would wait until nearly dark and go along and collect there bird box, and leave a new one in its place, and just bring that one home and hang it up somewhere around the farm, they were obviously worried about them being there and I was never going to harm a coliney of bumbles.

Nearly always a white tailed tree bee, poxy things, love an old blue tit nest.
I normally kill them as they are non native and the drones appear aggresive
