Hi,

Just canvassing opinion on what everyone’s advice is for their top three books regarding stalking ?

Also, I should open this up to digital formats too I suppose in this day and age, LOL

"The Complete Deer Stalker" by Larry Fowles
"Best Practice Guides" by the DI, see Best practice guides | The Deer Initiative

And then take your pick of any one of these, depending on your particular interest:

"Among the Deer" by Duff Hart-Davis
"Working with Nature" by Ronnie Rose
"Working with Dogs for Deer" by Niels Sondergaard
"Roe Deer and their Antlers: A Stalker's Lifetime Experience" by Pavel Scherer

The Complete Deer Stalker by Larry Fowles. (He's a member on here, but I forget his moniker just now).

Deer: Law & Liabilities by Charlie Parkes and Lewis Thornley.
(Dull as ****, but well worth having as a reference).

The DSC1 course notes.
Thanks for this been wanting a read for my London tube commute 👍🏼

Have to say that I have just purchased the BASC DSC notes on a usb stick from Deer Central. Absolute steal at £20 and now means I can accidently read it on my work laptop with no one noticing. I also have the British Deer Society manual but its far too big to hide at work. lol)
The Complete Deer Stalker by Larry Fowles.
The Field Guide to British Deer by the British Deer Society (new updated version for their 60th anniversary).

Tired of stalking and want to cook? I can highly recommend...
both Vension: The Game Larder by Jose L. Souto and The Merchant of Venison by Scott Rea. 👍
