You've forgot one thing this time when they joined some people are in the door months and seen to do nothing other than post up to every thread .

The other one I find fantastic is the introduction say I'm a total beginner at the deer stalking 6 months later there experts . Living in a fantasy world more like .

I've been stalking for 34 years and still know nothing . It amazes me how some can be experts in months . Spending hour after hour on the web sites .

Hear hear my friend.I find the same thing with the Airrifle conversions I do .I send someone all the hints and tips for doing the conversion and next thing you know they are answering questions as if they had been doing it for years.
On here I really am the novice I know less than bugger all about stalking,I know nowt about the rifles that are used for shooting any wild game.I am all ears when it comes to the knowledge that can be gained from the likes of yourself good sir.I have already learned that sometimes there are more than one way to stalk a Deer.I myself am not in the least bit interested in shooting a trophy buck,but shooting for the table is another game entirely.
As a co admin on an airrifle site I "CULL" the serial posters who just answer with "DITTO" or something similar.These guys soon get the post count up but with no substance,they are wasting valuable bandwidth.The guys who post just to get the numbers beside thier names soon get the hump when the "Ranks" are given out and find that guys with lesser post counts are way ahead in the popularity stakes and get bigger and better "rankings" beside their names.
But they do help to make the forum what it is,and we would be the poorer for it if we just banned them totally.Folk on here have them pegged for what they are and treat them accordingly I notice.But this can cause friction when a guy gets abrasive because he has a thin skin.Not everyone has the hide of a Rhino like me.

Never said anything remotely like that or for that matter or even thought that, however look at what the serial posters posts, not much or very little plausible content, it's just another post a number in the box , if every post posted up had the credible information that the person who asked the question required to solve there problem we would all be experts .

I've never seen the point in just adding for addings sake ,if I had the information required and was within one of the first lot to place a answer up fine but not answering the same question, two pages from the start with the same answer as the previous 20 posters like happens quite often
