Trump says three 'narcoterrorists' killed in US strike on alleged drug boat
This is the third fatal strike the US military has carried out this month on a vessel allegedly carrying drugs.
What planet are you on? Drugs kill more people than terrorism in Europe, Scotland is the drug death capital of Europe.I think it’s good the issue is being handled with authority, although, it’s contentious to do it over international waters. Maybe lowering the legal drinking age to 18 would help too, so youngsters don’t go for cheap drugs readily available because it’s too hard to get beer and vodka. Part of the problem is within, the US have for years created the market by making it hard to get booze when you’re in high school and college.
In europe, kids get drunk, very few resort to drugs. They did it to themselves! But yes, also sort the suppliers, but maybe don’t blame them entirely for the systems failings
Aye,I saw Trainspotting.Scotland is the drug death capital of Europe.
Hi
If real evidence i.e. (not fabricated to suit narrative or agenda) before hand as the information being acted on, was forthcoming and put before all, then there may be some justication. But, 'alleged' not unlike a certain entity in the Middle East, is unacceptable. Seems like the extra-judical killings that cannot be accepted in a civilised worls.

Your argument distills down to ''People are doing this thing which is bad for them and society so we should to make it easier for them to do something else which is bad for them and society instead of fixing the underlying issues.''I think it’s good the issue is being handled with authority, although, it’s contentious to do it over international waters. Scotland is in a similar situation to the 80s, very sad really when you see someone with potential whitter away their life's.Aye,I saw Trainspotting.
I like your use of the word "distills"Your argument distills down to ''People are doing this thing which is bad for them and society so we should to make it easier for them to do something else which is bad for them and society instead of fixing the underlying issues.''
They weren't packages of Mars Bars strewn around lolLet all see the information (excluding critical names etc.) then I am sure there will be more support from all.....................I not holding me breathe - nowt will be forthcoming!
And better still is a route where the kids themselves chosoe neither and still have an awesome childhood. My wife and many I know grew up in the US, and I went through the US educational systeM in europe so knew many American kids.
My wife and all the family I know there always argue that getting booze was a PITA, so they all smoked weed instead, some went on to heroin and much else. The kids I grew up with up with from europe, we all drank and partied and it was fun. The American Kids who had come over and would eventually return, alll smoked weed and took pills, they didn’t see beer as a party essential.
My point is, it’s a lot better for kids to have a few pints than start on the weed and then try misc pills as a follow on.
If only we could legally distill small volumes in the UK! For different reasons, yes I'd want to encourage that- more to do with developing skills/hobbies and knowing where food/drink comes from and how it's made. Not sure what age though.I like your use of the word "distills"
Maybe home brewing should be encouraged among young people?
I started brewing beer when I was about 14, and have never felt the need to indulge in more sinister drugs.
Perhaps @triggertrix makes a valid point?
Joking apart, I have noticed that among the many families that I have known through my life, it is in the ones that have a more relaxed attitude to alcohol consumption in the home by young people and children (for example at meals, family gatherings, parties, bbqs or even just ordinary evenings in) that the "youth" are far less likely to go off the rails and start indulging in heavy alcohol misuse and drugs.
and thus become targets themselves instead of clogging the systemsomeone will smuggle it in
