Toyota Hilux mud mats

Hi, has anyone found a decent floor mat for their Hilux (mk6-mk8) that catches and holds mud and dirt ? I was looking online and it’s a bit of a minefield of junk .

I use the Genuine Toyota rubber mats.

I got the universal ones from Roughtrax. (Trim to suit).

Be careful if you have to dip your clutch to start your vehicle, as mud mats can interfere with how far down the clutch pedal can depress. My pal found this out the hard way, when his Hilux wouldn't start. When he phoned up the dealer, they eventually concluded that it was the mud mat interfering with the clutch pedal operation, that was the fault.

The very best thing i have ever found to use as mats were a couple of sheets of the stuff they use on lorry mudflaps to reduce roadspray. i just cut it to the required shape it catches all and is simply wahed out with a hose
