For sale is my beloved 2004 Toyota Landcruiser J125. This is the short-wheelbase version of the 120 series featuring the 3-litre turbo diesel engine.

The vehicle is an LC3 spec and is my daily driver. It has just over 203,000 miles on the clock. It is a 5-speed manual, and features full-time all-wheel drive, a low-range gearbox with locking centre and rear diffs, black leather seats (always used with seat covers), heated mirrors, and parking sensors. The second row of seats folds away and are easily removed from the vehicle to open up a lot more storage space.

I have spared no expense keeping it in the best mechanical condition possible. All necessary preventative maintenance has been carried out to ensure many more years of reliability. Some of the work over the last 3 years includes:
  • Black steel rims to replace the alloys
  • New steel fuel tank and engine bash plates
  • EGR delete (blanking plate with 7mm hole)
  • New Denso suction control valves
  • New clutch
  • New AC compressor and pipework
  • Turbo pressure test
  • New alternator
  • Timing chain
This vehicle has a full-service history and a huge folder of paperwork. In addition to the 10,000 miles garage services, I have been changing the oil and oil filter every 5,000 miles for added engine longevity. The chassis and undercarriage are in fantastic condition thanks to an annual thorough going-over and application of Lano-guard.

The tyres are a mix of Geolander (rear and spare) and Cooper front – these will need replacing in a year or so. The radio is a very outdated bit of junk that could do with a modern update. The bodywork has a few chips and scrapes in keeping with a 22 year old truck.

The Landcruiser would suit a stalker looking for the ultimate in reliability and offroad performance without sacrificing fuel economy (32 MPG mixed) and motorway manners, or an adventurer looking for a base for a smaller overlander. It has a very tight turning circle and is actually a pleasure to drive around town and park. I am only selling it as I need a bigger vehicle hopefully soon to be growing family.

If anyone has an 80, 100, or 150 series Landcruiser they are thinking of selling, then please send me a pm. Photo's to follow in the daylight tomorrow.

Asking £5500, based near Market Harborough. £5000

Thanks.
