Trigger Cam 2.1

Hi all,
I am interested in opinion on the Triggercam 2.1 for use in stalking scenario - I have use it in Field Target Shooting with success ?

I've got one and think it's great.. not used it in any sort of hunting scenario yet but as long as you remember to turn it on then I don't see it causing any issues.

You've got one already I take it?

Plenty of footage of people using them on YouTube.

Yes I have. I have used it in Field target and Hunter Field target with airgun, and it absolutely did the job of videoing. What I didn't anticipate to be fair and should've realised is how long video takes to edit if it's not your skill set!

It's also a very niche product, and I am going to reconsider whether it is a long-term keeper for me. Through no-fault to the tree you come but through my video editing skill and speed! I wondered if it was more appropriate for the hunting community?

Laughs I've just reread what I have posted, using Siri to dictate and discovered there is no edit feature! Through no fault of the trigger cam

Yeha I suppose if you're not into video editing then the footage in its raw form has limited use.

But at the same time, there is plenty of free video editing suites ranging from basic to advanced features that can easily help you edit a real simple video together.

I think it's usable in all shooting disciplines.. Just what the user intends to do with the footage I guess

I did slow a pellet down by shooting high fps to show the wind, it just took a lot of time as there are so many shots in an HFT competition.

This has been what I've used mine for so far... will be using it for some foxing this year hopefully... then deer stalking in the next few years once I get the money together to get a stalking rifle.
