Trophy Hunting write up in Country Squire

good logical and factual answer to Ashcroft and his puppet Carr.
Can't argue with that. And the article does very well to illustrate the differences between farming and trophy hunting. The huge elephant in the room though, is that he's preaching to the choir. The vast array of antis out there aren't in the least bit interested in fact or logic (or capable of disseminating fact from fiction, for that matter) The majority are ignorant, biased, prejudiced, and ill-educated idiots who cling their idiotically blinkered and anthropomorphic attitudes in the very face of logic, reason, and fact

I've just seen this. A good logical and factual answer to Ashcroft and his puppet Carr.
Yes, but a shame it's written in such a mocking, patronising tone. The facts are there, and if it was well written it could be more widely published and carry some weight.

Just got back from a 3 week hunt in South Africa and talking to the PH’s ,SA Hunters and farmers not one of them had any idea about a trophy ban and all of them with out exception could not understand the logic around it.Did my best to encourage them to talk to any of their hunting organisations and tell them what’s coming.

There was an informative and helpful "pro" piece in the South African "Daily Maverick" just yesterday. The positive side is being pushed by sources such as Conservation Namibia and Resource Africa, so surely the news is getting out there.

The news may be filtering through gradually but it’s still going to need African Hunting/Conservation groups to lobby the UK Parliament before it’s too late>
