trousers!

Hi folks,

I'm looking for a straightforward pair of fieldwork/stalking trousers.

Cotton, large cargo pockets (military size), olive green (*not* camo). No bells and whistles. A plain olive version of standard DPM or MTP issue trousers would be ideal.

Used to be millions of them around - can't find them anywhere now.

Can anyone suggest a supplier?

Thanks.

Try bushwear swede team trousers. I have a pair like you describe. Reinforced arse/ knees and plenty of pockets

Thanks folks - now found exactly what I was after. Much appreciated.

By the way - someone earlier said that pure cotton is weak when wet. Is this really the case? Curious.

Country covers falkland trousers. just took delivery of a pair and I'm impressed with them.. olive green ripstop material made to measure for just over £100 the way they adjust around the waist is rather cool and allows for a lot of adjustment.

It would seem to be with the pairs I have had. Slips and trips when soaked though often ripped the cotton. Same with jeans would often rip when wet.

SAS cotton smock never ripped seemed immune to everything except battery acid.

Thanks folks - now found exactly what I was after. Much appreciated.
