Turkish barber shops

How are there so many Turkish barber shops opening up randomly in small Scottish villages and seemingly successful , deapite the local hairdressers struggling to survive. All with Mercedes of course and new mont cler ski parkas.. yet very few customers. Flourishing businesses.? All seem to rent spaces with storage and back rooms as well.

Just asking for a friend who’s not sure what the average hard working person is doing wrong..

We are turning into a country similar to Mexico, drug cartels everywhere, most of the young roofers & scaffolders in my neck of the woods start the day with a line of "Chop" for breakfast.

Authorities to scared to tackle any ethnic group for fear of being called racists, the list of problems facing this country is long, and none of the main political parties are willing to face up to the problems. Bring back the Sweeny... and reactive policing...

We have 2 within 20yds of each other and another 200yds up the road and then more within a 1 mile radius, My ex next door neighbour is a traditional Barbour and is struggling, He's actually cheaper than the Turkish barber and he just can't fathom it out ?????? but he is old school and can't see what's happening in front of him.

Yes, there are now 6 Middle Eastern barbers alongside the 1 original barber on our 200 yd long street.
I was told that immigrants can get a £30k grant to open a business? But as stated above they are all empty of customers and 2 or 3 'barbers' stood outside smoking and on their mobiles most of the day. Plus, they are cash only! Call me a cynic but it is very suspicious.

The era of the laundrette has been been refreshed!

I have a friend who works with modern day slavery and people trafficking and she says yes even here in scotland most nail bars are run but traffickers who import slaves mostly underage women from Vietnam. Their parents think are getting a better life and pay for them to go into slavery.
There’s a new Turkish barber in castle douglas of all places I’ve no idea about that. Never seems busy but I own a barber shop and a hairdresser down south (both run by an Italian) and they never seem busy either but still pay the rent??? Who knows

My brother in law gets his hair cut every 2 weeks at £20 a go and by all accounts that's not uncommon for those his age.

I'm glad I'm mostly bald and spend £60 on a shaver every couple of years at most!

They're not Turkish, & they are incapable of using scissors, electric clippers are all you need, & one style of haircut, I call it the Kim Jong ill.
Cocaine, running all around your town.
