Two new blades from Alan @ Danum

Just received pictures of my latest additions to my ever expanding knife collection, these two beauties should be with me next week.

I had already purchased the Roe Stalker when advertised on here, and asked Alan to make me a matching neck carry knife based on Danums 'Coney' range, specs as follows:

Roe Stalker:
Handle: Mallee Burl Wood with Emerald Green resin scales
Steel: 3mm Sandvik 14C28N Stainless
Grind: Semi flat grind with second bezel
Blade length: 95mm
Handle length: 120mm
Stainless loveless pins & lanyard tube
Sheath: Brown dyed veg tan leather dangler with green stitching

Coney 'Kit Zipper'
Handle: Mallee Burl Wood with Emerald Green resin scales
Steel: 3mm Sandvik 14C27N Stainless
Grind: Scandinavian (Scandi) bevel
Stainless loveless pins
Sheath: Brown dyed veg tan with green stitching, with green neck lanyard.

It beats my why modern-day knifemakers can't find suitably sized timber for their knife scales!

Everyone to their own K, these were of my choosing, just something a bit different, as I have plenty other 'drawer queens' from Alan Wood, Stuart Mitchell & Marc Zabroski all finished, with traditional timber scales, with another currently on commission from Marc, we would all be a boring lot if we all liked the same...🤗
