Ash I am glad you asked the question as I needed an answer too.

I read Mausers reply on page 1 "I bought this:http://www.amazon.co.uk/JPL-7000-Ultrasonic-Cleaner-accessories/dp/B00112B0U0", so I bought the amazon ultrasonic cleaner with sea clean, not expensive and good quality.

It arrived yesterday and I cleaned 12 used Rem cases in 20% solution warm water for abot 10 min.

They came out shiny inside out. Needed 10 min to fully clean primer pocket, but were perfect. put straight in metal pan, not basket supplied.

So thanks for raising the issue and thanks to everyone, mauser in particular.

OK, so I omitted the tray this time, 10 cycles on full time & all the cases were cleaned ok. 8)

right i have just timed my self the OLD way i have cleaned neck sized and popped the primer out of 50 243 re primed and ready to fill in 45 min
think i will stick to the old way as you have say an hour with the ultrasonic cleaner then you have drying time I'm ready to go an will be done in another 20 min or so

Found a really nice folding pocket knife when cleaning out an old poly tunnel last week, it was partially seized, chucked it in the ultrasound cleaner with a strong vinegar solution, its now working again, going to sharpen it & pop in the toolbox.

Turned out to be a Solingen blade from some firm called Richardz with a spouting Whale near the fold.
