Gents, I don't know if you enjoy great optics that don't cost a fortune but I do. I've recently been turned on to Vector optics and have had an excellent experience with them, for those that might be curious:

yup me too,i bought a continental 4- 25x50 as a cheap scope for my blackout thinking i only use it for shortish ranges, but these are great value for the money not quite up to my nightforce but not as far away as cost would suggest.

Agreed, incredible scope for the price point.

I’m slowly replacing all my scopes, currently have a 1-10x28 on my M4 22wmr and a 4-24x56 on my .223 trainer. I’m looking at going 3-18 or 2-12 on my .243 next. I’ve been really impressed with them, accurate, clear (German glass) not too heavy and very reasonably priced

A friend - then new to stalking, and on a tight budget - asked me to help him put together an affordable "rig" (as he - quite sensibly, I think - calls it). This was the scope I chose for him.
He's happy with it (especially when stalking thick cover with the magnification dialled down), and it has exceeded my expectations of such an inexpensive item.

Might have to pick up another one, its also a great scope for new hunters. With loads of room to grow.
