Venison stew.

You need-
2 pounds venison
1 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper
2 large potatoes, diced
1 can tomato sauce
4 carrots, diced
3 tablespoons chunky peanut butter
1 cup red table wine
2 teaspoons soy sauce
2 medium onions, chopped
Beef broth to cover
2 bay leaves
1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
1-1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon thyme
If you want to add dumplings- add some parsely to your dumpling mix.
Combine all ingredients in a crockpot. Cook on LOW for 8 hours and 15 minutes.
An excellent meal to come to after a long winter days stalking.

Will give this a try.
Lump it all in the slow cooker in the morning and the soft stuff at lunch and then eat it for the next three days.
