Why have I just been asked to verify that I am not a robot before being able to access SD? That has never happened before.

I had a sudden sinking feeling after clicking the box that it was all a scam, and that hidden behind the innocent request might be a link that would unleash all sorts of nasties into my phone.

Those numbers are about as low as they'll go as plenty of human users won't have had a chance to verify themselves yet. I am also tweaking the settings so people can still find the site if they search for something specific but hopefully this should be a useful tool.

With respect Tim, a lot of people join this site because they want to shoot deer but haven't done so yet, or because they have other interests in shooting and this site popped up when they searched something.
I was one such person when I joined. (You could probably find my original intro, if you cared to search for it).
This site has a proven track record for introducing newcomers to stalking. Everyone starts somewhere, and for many folk (myself included) that somewhere is here.

Yes and they can just click on that icon and carry on reading...also as you pointed out my Thread "For the New Stalkers"

Good shout! A lot of people don't expect to find nodes anywhere other than what they were taught on DSC1.

These ones (prescapular) would normally be found attached to the carcass, rather than to the skin, but I guess that depends how much of the carcass you remove with the skin.

Herding Cats is a term reserved for shoot days, texting all of the same farming family that you will be in on Monday to fix the broken cultivator
only to find they have all gone to a shoot and the barn is locked
