What's your thoughts on the above scope on a 270.......I love magnification and shoot reds mostly head and neck shots........ anyone ever use a scope with similar minification?
totally unsuitable for a hunting rifle in my opinion.
That scope is designed for long range target shooting.
If you like higher mag scopes get something like a 6-24 X50
24x is more than you will ever need .
Personally I prefer something in the 4-16 power range.
