Waiting to be shot.

G'day Johan

Ooooh - thank you for sharing, and making me mouth water - especially after the words '...a good one for one of the Apprentices...'. Fingers crossed I am still a 'Prospect'?
Aye, put me name to that one, leastways keep and eye on him if at all possible, for when I get me papers to drop down!

Q - how does one get the skull n antlers back to Blighty without having ones collar felt or worse?

The second clip seemed to have the Big Fellah well protected by ye Bush......

Curiosity did kill'em cat - how far were each? Reachable for 'ordinary' folk?

both off shoulder wallops, now i`m not advocating it but if one HAD TO and had the right HW calibre and ammo at hand he could shoot through that thin screen. (2nd stag) Forget .243`s and lesser.

Hiya John

You obviously saw me 'error' in thy Title but chose nay to comment....

So, based on me 'average' distance - sub-75yds (small time 'recreational' fellah), doable given ye distances (accepting ye 'Big-Boomers') are usually way beyond?

Hey John

I get very, very nervous in heavy cover - in or out of any 'observation point', let alone with packs of Wild/Feral Hounds that would try 'foreign' food.......

Errr, no - I have to get Down Under yet, get through ye Gubbernuts at Aerodrome, then not get bitten by a Rubber-Stick/Shelob off-spring (Lord of The Rings), all the strange noises in the dark etc..........

Prayin' that something falls into place (loooongtime now) - fingers n toes crossed!
