Wall mounted trigger lock

Hello CO'DEN. Still looking for the damned keys but here's how the thing works. It can also be used for some shotguns. The picture shows a rifle placed in the clamp. The clamp is secured to the wall by two bolts. One of the bolts is also used for the rifle trigger guard to go over. The clamp is then shut and locked. If the clamp is bolted at the correct height then the butt of the rifle would rest naturally on the floor with the rifle standing vertically. OTOH if in the boot of a car the clamp could be positioned so that the rifle lays flat across the car boot floor. The securing bolts can only be got at to undo them when the clamp is open. I will try to find the keys but will await tomorrow and daylight. In the closed picture I am using my hand to keep the clamp shut as the sponge rubber of course compresses when it is locked closed to protect the woodwork of the rifle.

New lock and keys purchased. The make is ACE of Walsall. It is listed by them as a gunsafe lock in fact. This is the key retaining version. So when left open the lock doesn't allow the key to be removed from the lock. The lock that was on it did...thus why that key got lost!
